Zagreb accounts for most of Croatia's foreign trade

Capital Zagreb plays the biggest role in Croatia's foreign trade, accounting for almost one-third of the export of goods and almost one half of imports; following are a few counties, an analysis by the national commerce chamber HGK shows. Last year, Croatia exported goods for total HRK 107.7bn, in which Zagreb accounted for 30.9%. The capital's share in imports worth total HRK 175.5bn in 2018 was even higher – 48.9%. The value of Zagreb's exports was 154 times the value of export from Dubrovnik-Neretva County, while the value of its imports was 596 times the imports by Lika-Senj County, Poslovni dnevnik writes.
