We’re getting cognitive centres for early detection of problems in companies
An analysis identified 3,076 administrative procedures that should be abolished
By the end of the year, the Ministry of Economy will form a cognitive centre for early detection of companies in major difficulties, Minister Darko Horvat announced at the Croatian Employers Association’s (HUP) Working Lunch. Such an early warning system is based on AI, that is, smart apps that will be able to identify “where the money is going” by processing financial statements or fiscal invoices. If such a system had existed before, the crisis in the Uljanik shipyard would have been detected back in 2012, Horvat claims. He also noted that an analysis last year identified 3,076 administrative procedures that should be abolished, simplified or digitalised.
