State continues to extract profit from companies
The money will be spent on modernizing the Armed Forces and their operations
This will be another year in which the Croatian state will continue to extract hundreds of millions of kuna from profits generated by state-(co)owned companies in 2018. As much as 60% will be taken from those that have the State as its majority owner (HEP, ACI, Croatian Post, Croatian Forests, etc.), and after their profits have been taxed. The Alan agency is an exception – all of its profit will be directed into the 2019 budget, and the Government decided yesterday that this money will be spent on the modernization and operation of the Armed Forces, Novi list reports.
