Realtors act now to avoid housing rush in autumn
September call for applications
It is known already that the prices of residential property in Croatia’s capital have gone up considerably, so a 50-square-metre flat in Zagreb costs around EUR 10,000 more now than it did last year. And the trend is expected to peak this autumn, after the September call for applications for housing subsidies from the ministry of construction. However, real property agents have found a way to pre-empt the rush that has followed every such call so far; they are contracting sales now, but will execute them after the awarding of subsidies, Poslovni dnevnik writes.
