Prices of flats go sky high
A subsidized housing programme
Property prices have been back to record highs from ten years ago in many locations in Croatia’s capital and the significant increase has also been conditioned with the state’s subsidized housing programme. Situation is similar in Split, where prices have gone up by 25% in the past two years. Approximately 6,000 flats and 500 houses are sold in Zagreb, while in the whole country around 20,000 properties change owners in one year, Vecernji list reports.
