Hospitality industry complains about taxation
Changes in the taxation system
Every time the Government announces changes in the taxation system, groups urging a reduced taxation rate for their industry start making their demands and the ones who are currently the loudest in voicing their demands is the hospitality industry. Their national coordinating organization requested an urgent meeting with the Government yesterday in order to discuss reducing the taxation burden on tourism and food service. The industry claims to be on the brink of collapse and wants the conditions for doing business as they were in 2015 restored (the VAT rate was reduced to 13% for them that year), Novi list reports.
