Although bankers in Croatia were heard frequently in the past warning that the period of cheap capital would be over soon, no such warning came from yesterday’s conference of the national banking association HUB. On the contrary, it was pointed out that record-low rates would continue to fall, starting with home loans. What is new is that the trend of prevailing HRK borrowing by households has stopped, and that the currency clause is making a comeback, Novi list reports.
