Business mood never better
Worst sentiment in Luxembourg, Hungary and the UK
Unlike the majority of EU member countries, Croatia has entered this autumn with a strong improvement of economic sentiment, so the economic sentiment index increased in September by four points compared to August, the European Commission has announced. Optimism was widespread in the EU from mid-2012 until the end of 2017, but since 2018 it has been on decline. Aside from Croatia, other countries that are also experiencing ESI growth include Cyprus, Slovakia and Malta, while this sentiment is worst in Luxembourg, Hungary and the UK.
